Bio
Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1964, and I have been a professional musician for 40 years.
After having studied guitar, harmony, composition and arrangements and electric bass, which is my instrument, in my hometown, I studied double bass at the Father Antonio Soler Conservatory in El Escorial (Madrid, Spain).
A highly versatile bassist, he began his professional career in 1980, participating in recordings and tours with artists of various styles, including Alberto Wolf, Jose Carbajal "El Sabalero", Rubén Dantas, Andreas Prittwitz, Gema y Pavel, Eliseo Parra, María del Mar Vivó, Cubop, Los Losadas, Diego "El Cigala", La Barbería del Sur, Big Band from the Madrid Musicians Workshop, Centro Habana Band, Rasha, Nono García, Hugo Naranja Toscano, or Niña Pastori. He also works assiduously as a musician accompanying singers such as Raphael, Paloma San Basilio, Alberto Cortez, Roque Narvaja, Inma Serrano, María Vidal, Bertín Osborne, Azúcar Moreno or Andy & Lucas within commercial music. He has also collaborated in television programs such as 7º de Caballería, Los Concertos de Radio 3, Música Sí or the Premios Amigo. As a teacher he has great experience, he has taught classes in different centers as well as in a private way. He has published original exercises and patterns in Guitbass magazine and has his own method.
I combine all this with the teaching bass, and lately, with the recording of my album and Bass Play Along book 'Todos los barrios'.
It is a jazz fusion project consisting of 8 tracks, entirely composed and arranged by me.
