Marco Corbino

Bio

Guitarist player,Composer, Arranger, Teacher. His musical education is developed between live concerts and seminars with some of the great masters of modern guitar like Frank Gambale, Mike Stern and Scott Henderson. Wide open to any type of sound, his music and his sounds grew up through the contamination of his mediterranean soul and the rest of the musical world.

He recorded his first single in ’97. He played and recorded with lots of Italian and foreign artists, including two CD with The Trio Aptal, one with the Trio Triatriba and one with Lautari. 

He developed, over the years, a personal approach with his instrument, due to his experiences and collaborations. His research let him to create and write a personal modern guitar method : “Appunti di viaggio”.

Teacher of modern guitar, theory and harmony, improvisation and music on stage at Music Institute “ Delta Rho” of Catania and teacher of Jazz, Rock-Fusion guitar at Musical Association Factory of Catania.

Clinics with: Umberto Fiorentino, Frank Gambale, Mike Stern, Scott Henderson, Massimo Moriconi and so on.

Since 2014 is an active member of Lautari, historical formation of world music, which moves in the wake of the folk tradition and its renewal with a project involving research and reworking of Sicilian songs, but also the composition of new songs in compliance with motifs and traditional forms. In February 2021 was released the album "Fora Tempu", realized with I Lautari.
