Bio
Diego Pereira is a drummer with 18 years of career and has been gaining space in Brazilian instrumental music. Born in Guaratinguetá, in the countryside of São Paulo, he moved to the capital in search of expanding his art in different activities within music: Side man, education, musical theater, studio, and finally, composition and arrangement.
He is the drummer of Trio Choro Moderno, formed in 2013 with the brothers Pedro Ramos and Paulo Ramos; Graziela Medori and the Brazucálias; and has performed with great names of Brazilian instrumental music: Thiago Espirito Santo, Arthur Maia, Daniel D'Alcantara, Vitor Alcantara, Sizão Machado, Alberto Luccas, Rodrigo Ursaia, Lupa Santiago, Guilherme Ribeiro, among others.
In September 2020 he released his first single on digital platforms: "Pro Nenê" is a tribute to one of the biggest names in Brazilian instrumental music: Realcino Lima Filho, known as Nenê.
