Bio

A.J MOORE IS A SONGWRITER, SESSION MUSICIAN, AND MUSIC EDUCATOR. HE HAS PERFORMED GLOBALLY, RECEIVING CRITICAL ACCLAIM AND RADIO PLAY ACROSS THE BBC AND EUROPE. 2023 WILL SEE THE RELEASE OF HIS SECOND ALBUM ‘DECADES’. THE ALBUM IS FULL OF DRIVING UPBEAT SONGS THAT THRIVE IN THE LIVE ENVIRONMENT. THE BAND WILL BE SHOWCASING THE SONGS OVER THE BEGINNING OF 2023.

Decades follows on from the release of A.J’s acoustic 2020 album with fellow guitarist/writer Nick Rundall. Their self titled debut album defied easy categorisation, blending exquisite dual guitar arrangements with original songwriting. Drawing inspiration from many genres their focus continues to expand what a vocal acoustic guitar duo can be. You can listen to the album here.

A.J’s variety of writing styles stems from his experience supporting and playing alongside number 1 selling artists including Gary Barlow, The Gypsy Kings, Jools Holland, Kathryn Jenkins, Hayley Westenra, Laura Wright, Nell Bryden, G4, Jonathan Ansell, Lee Mead, Rydian, All Angels, Dame Evelyn Glennie, Amr Diab and Faryl Smith. He’s also worked with the LPO, Opera North, British Sinfonia, Welsh National and the National Orchestra of Taiwan.

A.J was arranger and guitarist for the Queen Musical ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and played guitar on critically acclaimed musicals such as ‘The Colour Purple’, ‘Made In Dagenham’, ‘Hairspray’, ‘Joseph and His Technicolour Dream Coat’ and ‘Guys and Doll’s’.

His corporate bands perform at the UK's top events and have held residencies at London's famous Kensington Roof Gardens and the Hard Rock Cafe.
