Bio
Regi Oliver began playing the saxophone at age 12 and was awarded a full scholarship to the Berklee College of Music and graduated in 1987 with a major in Professional Music where he studied with Joe Viola and Bill Pierce. He also toured internationally, as a Berklee College representative with faculty trombonist, Phil Wilson. After Boston, Mr. Oliver relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area and joined the faculty at Stanford University's Jazz Workshop for the next 13 years. In 1998, Regi re-settled to Miami and resumed touring and working with a long list of artists including: Little Feat., The Pointer Sisters, Xpression, Lucky Peterson, Chubby Carrier, E.C. Scott, Sam Rivers, The Selwyn Birchwood Band and others. Currently residing in Central Florida, Regi continues touring and performing throughout the world.
