Bio

I created Kick Start My Guitar so that new guitar players can learn every technique they need to become great players in a fun and easy way. After teaching in person for the last 30 years, I've found that the old ways of teaching don't work in today's environment. I've devised a much more straightforward approach to learning the guitar with the 1-2-3 finger guitar chord method. This method, which gradually introduces chords in a logical sequence, allows you to play music from the beginning of your learning journey. I added live coaching to work alongside this method, so you never have to wonder if you're doing it right. Also, with the Soundslice technology I use for all lessons and books, students have found it much easier to learn with the music and video side by side. With Soundslice, you can slow the lesson down and loop it to perfect every movement of your lesson.
