Bio

Greg Lostracco has over 20 years of experience in performing, teaching, and composing across a variety of styles and projects. A skilled event musician, he frequently performs at weddings, corporate functions, and private events. His solo guitar performances showcase a blend of jazz, classical, pop and folk, while his guitar accompaniment brings thoughtful support to vocalists and other musicians.

As a dedicated educator, Greg teaches guitar, piano, and ukulele to students of all levels, tailoring lessons to individual goals. His approach emphasizes creativity and technique, with a curriculum that includes music theory, ear training, songwriting, and ensemble instruction, helping musicians build confidence both individually and in group settings.

Greg’s talents also extend to composition, writing original music for indie films, interactive media, and custom event pieces that capture the spirit of each occasion. His career has included teaching roles with the Saskatoon Academy of Music, Summit Studios and his own GuitarBlocks Music School, along with over two decades of private instruction.

He holds a BA in Music Performance with Honours – Guitar from Selkirk College, where he studied Contemporary Music and Technology. With a passion for blending tradition with innovation, Lostracco brings expertise, creativity, and professionalism to every project, inspiring students and engaging audiences alike.
