Uncaging the CAGED
‘Uncaging the CAGED’ is a course designed to unlock the guitar neck and show you how to use the CAGED system to give you complete access to all the chord forms as well as a framework for soloing and improvising.
This course is for a guitarist that has been playing for a while and might already know some open and barre chords, some of the pentatonic boxes and a few scales.
You might be someone who can play a few solos, knows a bunch of licks and has got a handle on the basics but really wants to understand how the neck works, how scales work and how it all locks together!
The CAGED system gives us access to all those shapes, colours and flourishes we see with masters like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and John Mayer. It’s also the gateway to more advanced guitar styles such as jazz and modern gospel.
This course is for those of you that have gone part of the way but want to put it all together and allow themselves to play confidently in any position and in any key.
