These 10 transcriptions from Julian take traditional and contemporary songs through their paces. In each etude you’ll see a specifically-crafted set of chords (reharms) that add intense harmonic flavor and tension to a given song. This is less about understanding the underlying theory and more about getting your ears (and fingers) familiar with these contemporary sounds.
You can practice along with Julian to lock in with his rhythm and feel, and can even loop/slow down any section by clicking and dragging on the notation.
Though the examples are performed on piano, you could easily apply the chords and voice leading to other chordal instruments.
