The first movement of JS Bach's Cello suite in G major is one of the most infamous piece of the western classical music repertoire and simply just a wonderful piece of music.
Bach's music is always a great way for me to get into a practice session - it's like watching a perfect piece of architecture or geometry.
It's a very soothing feeling to get these notes under your fingers and each measure of this piece contains great ideas for solos, voice-leading, techniques....
Classical guitarists have mastered this wonderful piece a long time ago. This arrangement for solo guitar of Bach's piece is designed for all guitarists who don't necessarily have a classical background nor play Fingerstyle, but who are interested in getting this beautiful piece under their fingers.
The video will give you all the fingering indications you need and the tablature is here for those of you who don't read music notation.
The range of the guitar allows us to play almost every note as written. The notes that I had to switch octaves have a little star (*) underneath.
