Volume 4 of the Applying Rudiments series is all about making sure you have your fundamentals in order on a drum pad.
This course contains 10 different rudiment exercises based on essential patterns. As always, Jerome breaks down the rudiments slowly, makes some challenging modifications and combinations to them, and then helps you get to a ripping tempo. Some unique challenges are presented in this course, like the ability to feel rudiments that are grouped in threes in straight time.
At the end of the course, Jerome offers some advice on different stick grips and how they might be used in different situations.
Like previous volumes, every measure can be looped and slowed down in the interactive Soundslice player, and everything is fully transcribed and synced. All rudiments are notated with sticking patterns to keep you on track.
