Fermatas
Here’s how to add fermata markings using the Soundslice editor.
Adding a fermata marking
Select the note you’d like to add the fermata marking to, then open the “Notes” section in the top panel and click the “Set fermata” icon .
You’ll see the “Set fermata” screen:
Choose your preferred fermata marking by clicking on it. To remove the marking, click “None.”
Fermata effect on synthetic playback
At the moment, fermatas don’t affect our player’s synthetic playback. In other words, there won’t be a beautifully poignant pause in playback when the player encounters a fermata.
Setting fermatas on multiple notes at the same time
If you have multiple notes selected, the usual way of setting fermatas will be disabled. Instead, use the editor search to find the specific fermata, and click the search result. You can use the search term “fermata” to show the options in search.
