Importing notation files

Use another program for notating music? No problem — you can import existing notation files into Soundslice.

We support these formats:

• MusicXML (.musicxml, .xml, .xml): An open standard for sharing music notation files. Nearly every music notation program can export in this format.
• Guitar Pro (.gp3, .gp4, .gp5, .gpx, .gp): The native file format of the program Guitar Pro.
• PowerTab (.ptb): The native file format of the program PowerTab.
• TuxGuitar (.tg): The native file format of the program TuxGuitar.
