Today we’ve made a small change to the way slice creators can set default visibility of notation, tab, chords or lyrics.

Today we’re excited to announce a powerful new feature for people using our notation/tab editor: you can customize the keyboard shortcuts! We’re also providing several presets, based on other popular notation software, and you can switch between these shortcut sets easily.

With more and more people posting to Soundslice channels, it’s about time we gave you a way to explore what’s happening across the site, by musicians you might not be following yet.

You can now create slash marks (aka slash noteheads) in our notation editor.

Today we’re happy to announce a new feature that makes it easier to follow music that has lots of repeats or jumps. It’s called “Expand repeats.”

Whenever you post to your channel, we send an email to your followers letting them know about it. Starting today, you can opt not to notify followers via email for a particular post.

For those of you creating slices, we’ve added a much-requested feature today. You can now copy syncpoints across slices, using our new “Import syncpoints from a file” feature.

Today we’ve added the ability to duplicate slices you’ve created.
