New notation feature: Dashed barlines

Today we’ve launched support for dashed barlines. (Some people call them dotted barlines.) These are typically used to clarify rhythmic groupings within a bar, for ease of reading complex music. They’re also used in instructional material.

Our MusicXML importer now detects these and should properly import them into your slices going forward.

You can also use our notation editor to add/remove dashed barlines. Just click a note, then click the “Set dashed barline” button to toggle a dashed barline before the selected note. See our updated notation editor help page for more.
