Folders in the Soundslice score manager (finally!)
April 6, 2016
Lots of people have asked for this one. You can now create folders in the Soundslice score manager.
This makes it easier to stay organized, especially if you use Soundslice with different groups of students or have lots of scores for whatever reason.
To create a folder, click the “Add a folder” icon at the top of the score manager:
If you create a score while you’re in a folder, the score will be created in that folder.
To move a score to a folder, click the new “Move to folder” icon next to the score.
Folders can be nested inside one another, which means you can have a nice hierarchy.
As part of this, we’ve polished the design of the score manager to be more streamlined. Scores’ recordings are now collapsed by default — click the arrow next to the score to view them.
We’ve updated our help section to reflect all of these changes. As always, please let us know if you have any feedback on the new functionality and design.
