We’ve made several improvements to our multitrack stems feature, both for practicers and creators.

Auto-saved stem volumes

When practicing with stems, we’ll now auto-save the individual volumes for each stem, via our auto-saved player settings. Previously, the stem volumes reset to 100% each time you loaded the slice.

Uploading multiple stems at once

A small workflow improvement: when uploading stems, you can now upload multiple Mp3s at once. Previously, you had to do one at a time.

Reordering

It’s now possible to reorder the stems. Previously, they always used the order in which you uploaded them, and you were stuck with that.

To reorder, edit your stems and use the draggy buttons at left of the list.

Bug fix with short stems

Previously, if one of your stems was shorter in duration than the others, the playback would stop as soon as that shortest stem reached its end. We’ve now fixed this so that playback continues until the end of the longest stem.
